We're very much looking forward to having Bill and a very special group - Tall Timber Bluegrass - here to help close out our 2017 Front Porch Stage season.

A bit about Tall Timber Bluegrass: Dave Brancecum (known professionally as "Unkle Dave") has been well-known around Mountain View for the past 40 years for his outstanding bluegrass singing and guitar playing. He founded the bluegrass band Delta Grass in the 70's, a band that played festivals around Arkansas, Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma for more than 20 years. "Unkle Dave and the Tall Timber Bluegrass Band" features Brancecum on guitar and vocals, the incredibly talented Adam Fudge on 5-string banjo and vocals, Bill Nesbitt on mandolin and vocals and Gresham McMillon on bass. Gresham McMillon's bass playing is solid, dynamic and creative. He's been a regular performer at the Ozark Folk Center for the past several years. Brancecum, Fudge and Nesbitt were all members of Delta Grass and played bluegrass festivals and shows around Arkansas and beyond. Adam Fudge has been well known in bluegrass circles since he first started winning banjo contests as a teenager. His playing blends the hard drive of Earl Scruggs with the technical prowess of Bill Keith and the musical creativity of Bela Fleck. Brancecum, Fudge and Nesbitt were all members of Delta Grass and played bluegrass festivals and shows around Arkansas and beyond for nearly 20 years.

Opening the show will be Bill as part of The Clark Family Trio, who had a wonderful performance on the Front Porch Stage August 5, 2017.

This will be a terrific evening of music in Mount Ida!
